Day 1 - Cooking Challenge 

Well done to both groups who cooked today! You have set the standard for the rest of the groups this week. Amazing food and so delicious! Thank you Mrs Souness and Mr Davies for helping us today :)











The aim of this Competition/Achievement Objectives & Curriculum Areas:

Health & P.E - Safety Management:
• Identify risks and their causes and describe safe practices to manage these.
• Identify and carry out best practice for personal hygiene. (Science)
• Team Building & Teamwork Required.

Mathematics - Measurement:
• Use linear scales and whole numbers of metric units for weight, temperature, and time.
• Measure with fractions in mind. (Adding Fractions).

Technology - Planning for practice:
• Undertake planning and organise materials and ingredients required for the baking challenge.
• Evaluate and critique own group/groups baking skills, teamwork, presentation etc.
Literacy:
• Read and follow instructions. (Comprehension Skills).
