Simplifying Fractions

After  a week or two learning about fractions and how to simplify them, the children were asked to create an instructional video using any materials or e tool that they liked, to teach other kids how to do it. Here's the first draft from Sylvia and Isabella.

Fantastic season with these boys. We finished up 4th out of 9 teams, a great effort! I saw so much improvement over the season, well done!

Year 5 Speech girls advert

First Communion Today

Well done to the 27 children from SH1 who celebrated their first communion this morning. Huge thanks to the Wileys, Mrs Dooley, Father Wayne and everyone involved for making it such a special occasion for all involved. I'm a very proud dad!

Frog Life Cycle

This week we have been writing about the life cycle of a frog. We then made a wee photo story and narrated it with Isabella's piece of writing. All of the children will have a chance to make their own frog movie, using their own writing.

Well done Elenoa for a huge result at the swim champs last weekend. Elenoa walked away with seven medals, two gold, three silver and two bronze! She also qualified for the National championships. Well done, we're proud of you!
